Johndeere 1470E Harvester - new 2011                                                      

Our new 1470E series harvester is fitted with a 9 litre PowerTech Plus, John Deere engine, boosting efficiency. This cab on this machine has increased rotating and side tilt angles, giving our operators greater visability to the machine's surroundings and a superior, safer, more ergonomic log loading zone. The 9 litre engine provides high torque and low rmp improving fuel efficiency as well as increased power to handle large, heavy trees.

The E series is stronger, tougher and more robust than ever before, giving operators greater cab comfort and all round visability.

Our older 1470D series harvester still packs a punch, whether in thinnings or regeneration logging. It has proved to be fast, durable, fuel efficient and animble work horse.

 

Theses  machines have highly automated harvesting heads: harvesting head tilt up, pressure adjusted delimbing knives & feed rollers, stem feed, colour marking and stump treatments, all adjustable via a clever on board computer system.

They are extremely versatile, high perfomance work horses, with the roomiest cabs and great visability These machines have been built to maximise productivity whilst maintaining good low environmental impact. 

 

Our 860.4 Forwarders are some of the most versatile and productive forwarder machines available. These machines have proven to be quick, nimble and productive. they are able to work on steep, soft, wet terrain and have exceptional maneuverability

Our Machine Operatives

All of our operatives are fully trained, NPTC certificated, insured and highly experienced in all aspects of Forestry, Tree operations, Reclamation work and Line clearance. Most have first aid training.

We are always looking to employ further experienced operatives in all aspects of forestry operations. Especially experienced workers looking to move upto mechanical harvesting operations.

Site Visits, Risk Assessments and Site Surveys are provided where necessary. Various other pieces of machinery and operatives not listed here are available to meet our clients needs - just ask!
